Buccaneers Waive WR/KR Trindon Holliday From I.R.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially waived WR/KR Trindon Holliday from injured reserve on Monday.

The Bucs previously waived him with an injury, but he later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.

Holliday, 28, signed on with the Buccaneers last month, but his stay was obviously short lived.

During the offseason, Holliday signed a one-year deal worth $700,000 with the Giants, but he was placed on injured reserve a few months back.

Holliday was an extremely productive kick returner since he signed with the Broncos two years ago. During this time, he’s totaled 1,327 kick return yards, 752 punt return yards and four touchdowns.

However, he’s had three fumbles and hasn’t been much of a contributor on offense outside of two receptions for 17 yards receiving. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 12 kick returner in the league last year.
