Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Buccaneers brought in OL Caylin Hauptmann for a workout on Monday.
This is actually Hauptmann’s second workout with the Buccaneers over the past few months.
Hauptmann, 25, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Florida International back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Cleveland before he was later signed off of their practice squad by the Seahawks.
Seattle elected to cut him loose at the start of the 2014 season, but he was claimed off of waivers by the Browns. Hauptmann eventually caught on with the Patriots and was brought back on a future/reserve deal before being waived at the start of last year.
Hauptmann has yet to appear in an NFL game.
