Buccaneers Worked Out Four Players

According to Howard Balzer, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought in four free agents for tryouts on Friday including LB Christian Kuntz, P Jeff Locke, P Ryan Quigley, and P Justin Vogel.

Locke, 29, if a former fifth-round pick by the Vikings in the 2013 NFL Draft. He finished his four-year rookie contract with Minnesota before signing a two-year, $3.45 million deal with $1.25 million in guaranteed with the Colts last year.

Unfortunately, the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed on with the Lions for a short stint. Locke joined the 49ers on a one-year contract this past March only to be released at the start of the regular season.

In 2017, Locke appeared in five games for the Lions and totaled 1,140 punt yards on 27 attempts (42.22 YPA).

Vogel, 25, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Miami last year. He was in the second year of his three-year, $1.66 million contract when the Packers waived him back in May.

The Browns claimed Vogel off of waivers but elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

In 2017, Vogel appeared in all 16 games for the Packers and totaled 2,991 yards on 71 attempts (42.12 YPA) to go along with two touchbacks.
