The Buccaneers worked out TE Rory Anderson on Tuesday, according to Adam Caplan.
Anderson, 23, was taken in the seventh round of last year’s NFL draft by the 49ers. Anderson managed to make the 53-man roster last year, but was unfortunately cut loose as the 49ers trimmed their roster down to 75 players.
He has generated a lot of interest since becoming a free agent and has had workouts for the Eagles, Patriots, Bills, and Jets.
During his four-year college career at South Carolina, Anderson caught 61 passes for 954 yards receiving and nine touchdowns over the course of 43 games.
