Buccaneers Worked Out RB Jacquizz Rodgers & WR DeAndrew White

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Buccaneers brought in former Falcons RB Jacquizz Rodgers for a workout on Tuesday.

Rodgers, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Falcons back in 2011. After playing out his rookie deal with the Falcons, the Bears signed him to a contract last year.

Chicago elected to bring Rodgers back on a one-year deal back in March, only to cut him loose last week.

In 2015, Rodgers appeared in five games and ran for 41 yards on 14 carries (2.9 YPC) to go along with a single reception and no touchdowns.

White, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Alabama back in May of last year before signing a three-year, $1.582 million contract with the 49ers. He was set to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2016 season when the 49ers cut him loose last week.

In 2015, White appeared four games for the 49ers and caught two passes for 18 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
