C.J. Spiller Just Dealing With A Thigh Injury, Expects To Play In Week 4

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Bills RB C.J. Spiller did not hurt his knee on Sunday, and instead suffered a thigh injury.

Spiller mentioned that he’s feeling a little sore, but expects to play against the Ravens in Week 4.

Against the Jets, Spiller finished with ten carries for only nine yards before leaving the game due to injury. Meanwhile, Fred Jackson rushed seven times for 72 yards and added four receptions for another 37 yard.

Clearly, it’s great news for the Bills that Spiller didn’t suffer a major knee injury, but they need to figure out a better of getting him involved in their offensive attack. I feel like we hear this every year with Spiller, but losing to the Jets should be more than enough for the coaching staff to reconsider a few things.
