Calvin Johnson Expected To Be A Game-Time Decision

Lions HC Jim Schwartz told reporters again on Thursday that WR Calvin Johnson is most likely end up being a game-time decision this weekend.

“It’s just going to depend on how he feels when we get to game day,” Schwartz said, via the Detroit Free Press. “When we make those determinations, we don’t make them on Wednesday or Thursday or even Fridays. He had a bunch of times last year where he didn’t practice at all and went out and played on Sunday, and last week, he practiced on a Friday and wasn’t able to go out there on Sunday, so we’ll just take it as it comes.”

Johnson put in a limited practice on Thursday and mentioned that his knee felt “good.” Johnson added that he isn’t concerned about his knee being a long-term issue and believes sitting out of Week 5’s game was “for the better.”

We’ll have more on his status leading up to Sunday’s game.
