Cardinals & 49ers Possible Landing Spots For Tyrann Mathieu?

Matt Maiocco of the CSN Bay Area mentions that LSU CB Tyrann Mathieu a “definite possibility” for the 49ers at some point on day two.

• Maiocco adds that San Francisco is unlikely to use their No. 34 overall pick on him.
• Mike Jurecki tweets that the Cardinals could consider Mathieu at some point today with intention of using him at safety & corner in certain packages.
• Jason Cole mentions that he would be surprised to see Mathieu get taken in the first 80 picks.

Previous speculation has had Mathieu as a third-round pick for awhile now, but there’s at least a chance he could slip into the latter portion of round two. We actually have him going to the Cowboys in our Third-Round Mock Draft.
