Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports that the Cardinals have activated RB Beanie Wells from the active/PUP list.
Wells is did participate in the team’s walkthrough on Tuesday, but isn’t expected to play in the team’s preseason game this Friday.
He’s coming off of knee surgery, so it’s safe to assume that the Cardinals will be cautious about his workload during the preseason to ensure that he’s ready and available for the regular season.
