Mike Jurecki opines that the Cardinals could go after Saints RB Chris Ivory this offseason, depending on what type of tender the restricted free agent receives.
Saints could be forced to place a low-round tender on Ivory given their current cap situation, which would mean Arizona wouldn’t have to fork over any draft picks because of the fact that Ivory was an undrafted free agent.
A talented pass-catcher out of the backfield, Ivory makes a lot more sense in HC Bruce Arians’ offense than a either Beanie Wells or Ryan Williams. If Arizona can find a quarterback to pair with Ivory, they would certainly be better suited to compete in a tough NFC West.
