Cardinals Cut 11 Players Including LB Lorenzo Alexander

The Arizona Cardinals announced the release of 11 players on Monday, as they work to get their roster down to 75 players.

The list of players either released or placed on waivers includes:

• P Dave Zastudil
• LB Lorenzo Alexander
• LB Glenn Carson
• G Nate Isles
• LB Andrae Kirk
• CB Shaq Richardson
• TE Gannon Sinclair
• WR Ryan Spadola
• CB Darren Woodard
• LB Edwin Jackson
• WR Travis Harvey (injured)

Alexander, 32, had one year remaining on his three-year, $4.62 million contract that included $2.92 million guaranteed. He was set to make a base salary of $1.4 million for the 2015 season.

In 2014, Alexander appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and recorded 13 tackles and a sack.
