Cardinals Cut Levi Brown, Save $14.5 million In Cap Space

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Arizona Cardinals will release OT Levi Brown.

Arizona is sitting $14 million over the salary cap so this move makes plenty of sense, especially if they plan on signing Peyton Manning by the end of the week. Add in the fact that Browns’ cap number is $17 million and it’s a fairly easy decision for the Cardinals.

This will create $14.5 million in cap space and Brown will now be one of the best available offensive tackles on the open market.

  1. How much do you think Brown is going to sign for? I mean he is definitely in the top tier of Tackles this year, but he isn’t worth what he was making…Im just curious?
