Cardinals Hosted ILB Darryl Sharpton For A Visit

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Cardinals hosted veteran ILB Darryl Sharpton for a visit this week.

This is the first reported interest in Sharpton since free agency got underway close to two months ago.

Sharpton, 27, is a former fourth round pick of the Texans back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with Houston before later signing on with the Redskins as an unrestricted free agent in March of last year.

Unfortunately for Sharpton, he was released at the start of the season, but was able catch on with the Bears a few days later.

In 2014, Sharpton appeared in five games and recorded 15 tackles and a pass defense.
