Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Cardinals are bringing in free agent CB E.J. Gaines for a visit on Saturday.
Arizona is still looking for a cornerback who can play opposite of Patrick Peterson and Gaines is, arguably, the best available option.
Gaines, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Rams back in 2014. The Rams traded him to the Bills last August as part of the Sammy Watkins deal.
Gaines played out the final year of his four-year, $2,327,672 contract and made a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season and is now in line to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2017, Gaines appeared in 11 games for the Bills and recorded 59 tackles, one interception, three forced fumbles and nine pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 13 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.
