Cardinals Hosting G Amini Silatolu For A Visit

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cardinals are bringing in Panthers free agent G Amini Silatolu for a visit on Sunday.

This is the first reported interest in Silatolu since the market officially opened on Wednesday.

His 2015 season was cut short after he suffered a torn left ACL in November and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Arizona could move former first-round pick Jonathan Cooper to center, so they could use someone at right guard.

Silatolu, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Panthers back in 2012. He has played out his rookie contract with the team and is now among the best available interior offensive lineman in this year’s free agent class.

In 2015, Silatolu appeared in nine games for the Panthers and played a total of 246 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

We have him featured in our Top 2016 Free Agents list.
