Cardinals LT D.J. Humphries Out 1-2 Weeks With MCL Sprain

Cardinals HC Bruce Arians announced Monday that LT D.J. Humphries is expected to miss one to two weeks with an MCL sprain, per Darren Urban.

Arizona plans to keep Jared Veldheer at right tackle with John Wetzel filling for Humphries at left tackle.

Humphries, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2015. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $8.912 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $1,245,192 and $1,450,288 over the next two years.

The Cardinals will have to decide whether to pick up Humphries fifth-year option next year.
