Cardinals Not In The Market For A QB, Despite Kevin Kolb’s Struggles

Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com writes that the Cardinals will not be looking for another QB despite Kevin Kolb‘s poor performance thus far.

The idea of the Cardinals pursuing Seahawks QB Tarvaris Jackson had been proposed, but that apparently is not a consideration for the team.

Kolb was far from impressive last night completing  3-of- 6 passes for 22 yards,an intentional grounding and a safety. Perhaps Kolb’s harshest critic was Oakland Raiders DT Tommy Kelly

“He is skittish. He is scared back there,” said Kelly. “Anytime anybody gets close to him he starts looking at the refs. As a defensive lineman you love a quarterback like that. He ain’t even trying to look at the routes no more…”

Rumors during the week mentioned that John Skelton was favorite  to land the starting job, however coach Ken Whisenhunt has assured the race is still not over. Every passing week seems to suggest that Skelton is in the drivers seat for the job.
