Tennessee Not Interested Braylon Edwards?

Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com dispels the rumors about Braylon Edwards possibly ending up with the Tennessee Titans saying simply, “don’t buy it!”

Cardinals K Jay Feely discussed the idea of signing Edwards with “Burns and Gambo” on Sports 620 KTAR.

We’re trying to convince him that he should come here, but it’s a matter of whether the finances work and what money someone else is going to offer him,” Feely said.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter mentions that the Arizona Cardinals are not guaranteed to bring in WR Braylon Edwards.

The Cardinals know they need another one and are looking around. They’d like Braylon Edwards, but the issue is money — there is only so much each team can spend. I happen to think that Early Doucet and Stephen Williams will be better than people think and that Arizona has more depth at receiver than people think,” writes Schefter.

Adam Schein of Fox Sports and Sirius NFL Radio reported yesterday that both Larry Fitzgerald and Kerry Rhodes approached management to offer their support for signing Edwards.

Arizona is reported to be working on a new contract for Larry Fitzgerald so you’re never sure how far a team is willing to go to appease their star player but Edwards is a costly high risk option for them.
