Cardinals Not Sure Who They’ll Start For Week 15, Kevin Kolb Unlikely To Be Back

The Arizona Cardinals appear to have hit rock bottom after getting out to an impressive 4-0 start. Sunday’s 58-0 blowout loss to the Seattle Seahawks just highlighted the fact that John Skelton and Ryan Lindley are not NFL quarterbacks.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt mentioned that he’s still not sure who the starting quarterback will be for Week 15’s game, but he did ask a reporter whether or not he played quarterback, via the Arizona Republic.

Part of our struggles have been tied into the inconsistency at that position. You’ve got to have something there that can cover up some other areas, and we’re not getting that.”

In regards to Kevin Kolb, Mike Jurecki mentions that he’s unlikely to return this week, which isn’t surprising when you consider that reports from last week indicated that Kolb’s rib injury isn’t healing as fast as they were hoping.

At this point, the Cardinals can’t get any worse and there’s really nothing to play for. They might as well play Lindley and see if he can show even modest improvement as an NFL passer.
