Cardinals Officially Sign QBs Aaron Murray & Zac Dysert To Practice Squad

The Arizona Cardinals officially announced the signing of quarterbacks Aaron Murray and Zac Dysert to their practice squad on Tuesday.

The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Brittan Golden
  2. WR Chris Hubert
  3. QB Aaron Murray
  4. CB Harlan Miller
  5. TE Ifeanyi Momah
  6. LB Shaq Riddick
  7. RB Elijhaa Penny
  8. TE Hakeem Valles
  9. OT Givens Price
  10. QB Zac Dysert

Murray, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2014. He’s was in the third year of his four-year, $2,402,424 rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season when the Chiefs elected to waive him last week to get down to the 53-man limit.

Murray has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Dysert, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He was placed on waivers by the Broncos at the start of the 2014 season, but they later added him to their practice squad.

The Bears claimed Dysert off of waivers a few days before the start of the season, but he was among their final roster cuts. After that, Dysert returned to the Texans, but was on and off of their practice squad before later signing on to the Bills’ practice squad.

The Dolphins signed him to a future/reserve contract before later cutting him loose last week.

Dysert has yet to appear in a regular season NFL game.
