Cardinals GM Rod Graves told reporters that he’s optimistic that they’ll be able to get a long-term deal done with free agent DE Calais Campbell, per Darren Urban.
“I believe we will have a resolution at some point,” Graves said.
The Cardinals have publicly stated that adding Campbell remains their top offseason priority. Arizona still has their franchise tag available if they’re unable to reach an agreement before the March 5th deadline, but Graves’ optimism suggests that they may not need it.
