Cardinals OT Bobby Massie Suspension Reduced To Two Games

Cardinals OT Bobby Massie has had his three game suspension for violating the leagues substance abuse policy reduced to two games following his appeal, per Pro Football Talk.

HC Bruce Arians said the starting right tackle position is Massie’s to lose back in May. At this time, first-round pick D.J. Humphries is expected to secure the starting job for at least the start of the regular season.

He will return to the lineup as soon as Week 3 against the 49ers.

Massie, 26, is entering the final year of his  four-year, $2.543 million rookie contract and stands to make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.

In 2014, Massie appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and played every offensive snap. He finished the season ranked as the No. 42 offensive tackle out of 84 qualifiers.
