Cardinals Place DT Olsen Pierre On IR, Promote Two

The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that they’ve placed DT Olsen Pierre on injured reserve with a knee injury and promoted WR Jalen Tolliver and DE Vontarrius Dora to their active roster.

Other roster moves from the Cardinals include:

• Cardinals placed OL Rick Leonard (calf) on the practice squad injured list
• Cardinals signed WR Rick Braverman to their practice squad.
• Cardinals released WR Montay Crockett from their practice squad.

Pierre, 27, originally signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2015. Chicago decided to waive him after a few months and he caught on with the Cardinals’ practice squad.

Arizona has brought Pierre back on exclusive rights deals each of the past two years.

In 2018, Pierre appeared in 10 games for the Cardinals and recorded 12 tackles and no sacks.
