Mike Jurecki of XTRA Phoenix reports that the Arizona Cardinals are “working on a deal” with Jets WR Braylon Edwards.
Jurecki mentions that this deal is not guaranteed to get done and could even fall apart.
The fact that the Cardinals are pursing another wide receiver like Edwards shows their commitment to winning now. Arizona has brought in Kevin Kolb and Todd Heap to go with Larry Fitzgerald and a promising young backfield. This move could make them contenders in the NFC West.
