Cardinals RB Jonathan Dwyer Charged In Domestic Violence Case

The Associated Press is reporting that charges have been filed against Cardinals RB Jonathan Dwyer for with assaulting his wife back in July.

Dwyer has been charged with felony aggravated assault and to go along with eight misdemeanors.

The Cardinals placed Dwyer on the reserve/non-football illness list a few weeks ago after he was arrested and booked on suspicion of assaulting his son.

According to police records, the incident involved Dwyer trying to kiss his wife and remove her clothing. However, she told Dwyer to stop multiple times and even bit his lip to prevent his advances. Police say Dwyer responded by head-butting his wife and ultimately fracturing her nose.
