Cardinals Re-Sign LB Scooby Wright To Practice Squad

The Arizona Cardinals announced Wednesday that they’ve re-signed LB Scooby Wright to their practice squad.

The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:

1. WR Carlton Agudosi
2. G Dorian Johnson
3. S Harlan Miller
4. TE Ricky Seals-Jones
5. DT Pasoni Tasini
6. OLB Bryson Albright
7. OLB Obum Gwacham (Exception)
8. OT Givens Price
9. LB Scooby Wright

Wright, 23, is a former seventh-round pick of the Browns back in 2016. He was cut loose a few weeks into the 2016 season before later signing on to the Browns’ practice squad.

The Cardinals would later sign him to their active roster in December of last year. Unfortunately, Wright was cut loose last weekend as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players and later signed to their practice squad.

In 2016, Wright appeared in three games for Arizona and recorded two total tackles.

During his college career at Arizona, Wright recorded 270 tackles, 43.5 tackles for a loss, 17 sacks, an interception, five forced fumbles, a recovery and a pass defense.
