Cardinals Re-Sign RFA P Drew Butler To A Two-Year Deal

The Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve re-signed P Drew Butler to an undisclosed contract on Monday.

  • Rand Getlin reports that Butler receives a two-year contract that will pay him $1.2 million annually.

Butler was in line to be a restricted free agent in the coming weeks.

Butler, 26, originally signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia back in 2012. Since then, Butler has played for the Bears and Lions before catching on with the Cardinals as a free agent at the start of the 2014 season.

In 2015, Butler appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals, totaling 2,280 punt yards on 60 attempts and six touchbacks.
