The Arizona Cardinals announced Monday that they’ve re-signed S Tyrequek Zimmerman and placed S Durell Eskridge on waivers with an injury designation.
Should Eskridge clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Zimmerman, 23, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon State back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in New Orleans before he was cut loose after last year’s draft.
The Seahawks later signed him to a contract, but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts. He later caught on with the Browns midseason before signing a future/reserve contract with the Cardinals in January.
Arizona waived Zimmerman a little over a week ago.
