Cardinals Re-Sign TE Darren Fells To A One-Year Deal

The Arizona Cardinals announced Monday that they have re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE Darren Fells to a one-year contract.

  • The Cardinals also signed exclusive rights TE Ifeanyi Momah.

Fells, 29, originally signed on with the Seahawks back in 2013. He spent just a few months in Seattle before he was waived at the start of the 2013 season. The Cardinals later signed him to their practice before bringing him back on a future/reserve contract in January of 2014.

In 2015, Fells appeared in 14 games and recorded 21 receptions for 311 yards receiving and three touchdowns for the Cardinals. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 61 tight end out of 73 qualifying players.
