Cardinals Ready To Move On Kevin Kolb?

As of now it appears that the list of suitors for Philadelphia Eagles QB Kevin Kolb is down to the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks.

Mike Jurecki of XTRA 910 in Phoenix is reporting that the Cardinals are willing to offer Dominique Rodgers-Cromartiestraight up” for Kevin Kolb as soon as teams can begin the offseason.

Patrick Peterson is a better football player than than DRC right now,” added Jurecki. “He’s not afraid to hit.”

This is an idea that was proposed about a month ago but was shot down by some of the Cardinals beat writers. Philadelphia is said to be looking for someone that can help them immediately and possibly a draft pick rather than just a package of draft picks. Even if Arizona is prepared to offer Rodgers-Cromartie that doesn’t necessarily mean that Andy Reid and company will see it as enough.

Jurecki mentions that the Cardinals have both Matt Hasselbeck and Kyle Orton on their “shortlist” but “Kolb is the guy.
