Cardinals Release LB Vontarrius Dora From Practice Squad, Sign DL Peli Anau

The Arizona Cardinals officially released LB Vontarrius Dora from their practice squad and signed DL Peli Anau to the unit.

The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Carlton Agudosi
  2. S Harlan Miller
  3. DT Pasoni Tasini
  4. OLB Bryson Albright
  5. TE Anthony Denham
  6. LB Earl Okine
  7. LB Connor Harris
  8. OT Vinston Painter
  9. OL Givens Price
  10. DL Peli Anau

Dora, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech back in May of 2016. He was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason last year but was later signed to the team’s practice squad.

The Broncos waived Dora coming out of the preseason, but he managed to sign on to the Cardinals’ practice squad a few weeks ago.

During his college career at La Tech, Dora recorded 145 tackles, 23.5 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, four pass defenses, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles over the course of four seasons.
