Cardinals Release WR Aaron Dobson From Injured Reserve With Settlement

The Arizona Cardinals officially released WR Aaron Dobson from injured reserve with a settlement on Wednesday.

Dobson, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2013. He was in the final year of his four-year, $3.428 million rookie contract that included $1.173 million guaranteed and set to make a base salary of $872,505 in 2016 when he was waived by the Patriots last year.

The Lions later signed him to their active roster and was on and off of their roster last season. The Cardinals signed him to a future/reserve contract this past March only to place him on injured reserve a few days ago.

In 2015, Dobson appeared in eight games and caught 13 passes for 141 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
