The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to terms with first-round DL Robert Nkemdiche, according to Darren Urban.
- The Cardinals also signed fifth-round picks S Marqui Christian and OT Cole Toner.
Nkemdiche, 21, was taken with the No. 29 overall pick and could prove to be a steal in the end. Reports leading up to the draft had said that a number of teams had character concerns regarding Nkemdiche, despite his obvious talent and ability.
According to OverTheCap.com, Nkemdiche receives a four-year contract worth $8,600,592 to go along with a signing bonus of $4,454,976 . The contract will include a fifth-year option for the team to consider in 2019.
During his three-year college career at Ole Miss, Nkemdiche recorded 81 tackles, 16 tackles for a loss, six sacks, and three pass defenses.
