Cardinals Sign DT Bruce Gaston Off Dolphins’ practice squad, Release RB Jalen Parmele

The Arizona Cardinals have signed DT Bruce Gaston off the Dolphins’ practice squad on Wednesday and released RB Jalen Parmele, per Darren Urban.

Gaston, 22, signed with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue, but lasted until cut down day this past weekend. The Patriots later claimed him off of waivers, although he lasted just a day with the team.

Miami later claimed him off of waivers from New England and signed him to the practice squad shortly after.

During his four-year college career, he recorded 132 tackles, seven sacks, 24 tackles for a loss and two forced fumbles.

Parmele, 28, is a former sixth-round pick of the Miami Dolphins. The Ravens later signed him off of the Dolphins’ practice squad and kept him around for three years. Since 2012, has played for the Jaguars, Titans and Cardinals.
