The Arizona Cardinals have signed G Kaleb Johnson to their practice squad on Thursday, according to Darren Urban.
The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Brittan Golden
- WR Marqius Bundy
- DB Trevon Hartfield
- CB Harlan Miller
- RB Elijhaa Penny
- TE Hakeem Valles
- OT Givens Price
- QB Zac Dysert
- OLB Cam Johnson
- G Kaleb Johnson
The Cardinals brought in Johnson and Martin Wallace for workouts on Wednesday, but it appears as though Johnson was the more impressive of the two.
Johnson, 23, originally signed on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers back in May of last year. he was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad.
Baltimore elected to cut Johnson loose towards the end of the season and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Browns. Cleveland brought Johnson back on an exclusive rights deal before cutting him loose close to a month ago.
Johnson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
