The Arizona Cardinals have signed former Bears ILB Darryl Sharpton to a contract on Wednesday.
The Cardinals recently hosted Sharpton for a visit, so he was clearly on their radar and happens to play a position where Arizona could use some depth.
Sharpton, 27, is a former fourth round pick of the Texans back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with Houston before later signing on with the Redskins as an unrestricted free agent in March of last year.
Unfortunately for Sharpton, he was released at the start of the season, but was able catch on with the Bears a few days later.
In 2014, Sharpton appeared in five games and recorded 15 tackles and a pass defense.
