Cardinals Starting QB Drew Stanton For The Third Straight Week

Cardinals HC Bruce Arians announced that QB Drew Stanton will make his third consecutive start against the Broncos.

Veteran QB Carson Palmer recently got a second opinion on his injured shoulder, but the specialist reportedly told him what he already knew about the injury, which is it that the nerve damage will take time to heal and surgery is not required.

Palmer missed Friday’s practice and is out indefinitely.

Stanton has done a decent job in relief of Palmer as he has completed 32-of-62 passes for 411 yards and two touchdowns over the course of two games.

He’ll have his toughest test this Sunday when they face off against the Denver Broncos.
