Cardinals Sticking With QB John Skelton?

Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic writes that teams win over the Philadelphia Eagles could afford them “the luxury” of allowing QB Kevin Kolb to take another week off rather than rushing in back into game action before he’s compeletly healthy.

Backup quarterback John Skelton‘s has managed back-to-back wins over the Rams and Eagles and has, at the very least, earned some consideration for the teams starting position. It would still be surprising to see the Cardinals sit Kolb even if he’s able to come away with a win over the division leading Sna Francisco 49ers next week.

Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt wasn’t willing to answer questions about the teams starting quarterback following the game so you can expect the speculation to continue throughout the week.
