Cardinals Still Undecided As To Who Will Start Saturday

Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic writes that Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt decision not to disclose who will start Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals has to do with one of two things. Either Whisenhunt has no idea who he’ll start or he prefers to keep it a secret until later in the week.

Somers adds that John Skelton is likely to get the start rather than Kevin Kolb based on the teams practices throughout the week.

Kolb is returning from a concussion that has kept him out for the last few weeks and Skelton has been playing well enough for the team to get its record back to five-hundred. Considering that Skelton is 5-1 as the starting quarterback this year, it makes more sense for them to stick with him and allow Kolb more time to recover from the concussion.
