Cardinals The Best Option For LT Demetrius Bell?

Before visiting the Philadelphia Eagles this past weekend, free agent LT Demetrius Bell was hosted by the Arizona Cardinals, according to Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com.

It seemed as though the Eagles were the obvious fit for Bell, but he wound up leaving without a contract which could make the Cardinals the favorites to sign him.

Bell has met with other teams, including the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers along with a host of others, which suggests that Bell’s asking price is preventing a deal from being completed with any of his suitors.

The Cardinals recently re-signed OT Levi Brown to a five-year contract. Brown, drafted in 2007, played at right tackle before switching over to the left in 2010. If Bell opts to head to the Grand Canyon State, Brown could revert to RT for Bell to fit in, which would most likely make life easier for quarterback Kevin Kolb.
