Cardinals Tried Out 3 Players Including CB B.W. Webb

According to Howard Balzer, the Arizona Cardinals brought in three free agents on Monday including CB B.W. Webb, DT Mike Purcell, and CB Trevin Wade

Webb, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2013. He lasted just over a year in Dallas before he was waived and later claimed by the Steelers. Unfortunately, Webb’s stay in Pittsburgh was short-lived, as they cut him loose just a few days later.

The Titans signed him to their practice squad at the start of the 2015 season and later promoted him to their active roster. However, he was cut loose as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.

Webb signed on with the Saints a few weeks into the regular season and finished out the year in New Orleans.

The Falcons signed him as an unrestricted free agent back in April but made him one of their final roster cuts.

In 2016, Webb appeared in 14 games and recorded 28 tackles, no sacks, one interception and 11 pass defenses for the Saints. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 76 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.
