Cardinals Waive LB Gabe Martin From I.R. With Settlement

The Arizona Cardinals officially waived LB Gabe Martin from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Wednesday.

Martin, 25, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green back in May of 2015. He was waived at the start of the season and was later signed to their practice squad.

The Cardinals re-signed Martin to a one-year contract this past March. Arizona waived him with an injury designation on Saturday and he later reverted to injured reserve.

In 2016, Martin appeared in eight games and recorded four tackles, no sacks and a fumble recovery.
