The Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve waived QB Aaron Murray from their practice squad and signed CB Trevon Hartfield to the 10-man unit.
The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:
- WR Brittan Golden
- WR Chris Hubert
- CB Trevon Hartfield
- CB Harlan Miller
- TE Ifeanyi Momah
- LB Shaq Riddick
- RB Elijhaa Penny
- TE Hakeem Valles
- OT Givens Price
- QB Zac Dysert
Murray, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2014. He’s was in the third year of his four-year, $2,402,424 rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season when the Chiefs elected to waive him last week to get down to the 53-man limit.
The Cardinals signed him to their practice squad just a few days later.
Murray has yet to appear in an NFL game.
