Cardinals Waive QB Zac Dysert, Sign OT OT Martin Wallace To Practice Squad

The Arizona Cardinals signed OT Martin Wallace to their practice squad and waived QB Zac Dysert on Monday, according to Kent Somers.

The Cardinals’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Marqius Bundy
  2. DB Trevon Hartfield
  3. CB Harlan Miller
  4. RB Elijhaa Penny
  5. OT Givens Price
  6. G Kaleb Johnson
  7. OLB Nordly Capi
  8. S Christian Bryant
  9. OT Martin Wallace

Dysert, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He was placed on waivers by the Broncos at the start of the 2014 season, but they later added him to their practice squad.

The Bears claimed Dysert off of waivers a few days before the start of the season, but he was among their final roster cuts. After that, Dysert returned to the Texans, but was on and off of their practice squad before later signing on to the Bills’ practice squad.

The Dolphins signed him to a future/reserve contract before later cutting him loose coming out of the preseason. Dysert signed on to the Cardinals’ practice squad a few days later and was promoted last week.

Dysert has yet to appear in a regular season NFL game.

Martin Wallace, 25, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in 2013. He lasted just a few months in Cleveland before signing on to the Panthers’ practice squad.

After a brief stint with the Buccaneers, Wallace signed a future/reserve contract with the Bears last year. He was unfortunately waived during the final week of the preseason.

Wallace lasted appeared in an NFL game during the 2013 season while playing for the Browns.
