Cardinals Waive RB Zach Bauman & CB Roc Carmichael

The Arizona Cardinals placed RB Zach Bauman and CB Roc Carmichael on waivers Tuesday, per Darren Urban.

Carmichael, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Houston Texans. He spent two years with the team before he was among the Texans’ final roster cuts last year.

Philadelphia later signed him off of the Texans’ practice squad shortly after the 2013 season got underway. However, he was once again released as the Eagles trimmed their roster down to 53 players at the start of the season.

The Cardinals signed him to a future/reserve contract at the end last season.

Carmichael hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season when he was with the Eagles.

Bauman, 22, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Arizona back in May of last year.

He was released at the start of the regular season as the team trimmed their roster down to 53 players. However, the Cardinals later added him to their practice squad before eventually signing him to a future/reserve contract in early January.
