Cardinals Will Release RB Beanie Wells

Beanie Wells tweets that the Arizona Cardinals have informed him that he will be released today.

Wells, 24, has dealt with a number of injuries since being drafted by the Cardinals. He missed 8 games last year alone.

It will be interesting to see if Arizona targets someone like Rashard Mendenhall or Reggie Bush, as both players have been rumored to be speculative options in days.
