Cardinals Worked Out 4 Players

According to Howard Balzer, the Arizona Cardinals brought in four players for workouts on Tuesday including TE Anthony Denham, TE Alex EllisLB Earl Okineand DE Jonathan Woodard.

Of this group, the Cardinals signed Denham and Okine to their practice squad.

Woodard, 24, is a former seventh-round pick by the Jaguars out of Central Arkansas in the 2016 NFL Draft. He was entering the second year of a four-year, $2.42 million rookie contract and was set to make a base salary of $540,000 this season.

The Buccaneers and Patriots brought him in for a workout recently but neither team signed him to a contract.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

During his college career, Woodard appeared in 37 games for Central Arkansas.
