Cardinals Worked Out 3 LBs Including Emmanuel Acho

The Arizona Cardinals brought in free agent linebackers Emmanuel AchoJames Anderson and Ja’Gared Davis for workouts this week, according to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post.

Acho, 24, is a former sixth-round pick of the Browns back in 2012. He spent one year in Cleveland before he was traded to the Eagles in return for RB Dion Lewis.

Acho had a brief stint with the Giants before returning to the Eagles in October of 2013. Philadelphia elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract back in January, but he was unfortunately cut loose at the start of the season.

Last year, Acho appeared in 14 games for the Eagles and recorded 31 tackles.

Davis, 24, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Methodist back in 2013. He spent just a few months in Houston before he was later claimed off of waivers by the Patriots.

Davis briefly caught on with the Chiefs towards the end of last season before being added to the Redskins’ active roster. Washington would later place him on waivers to make room for OLB Junior Galette.

In 2014, Davis appeared in six games and recorded five tackles.
