Herbie Teope of the Times-Picayune reports that the Cardinals brought in RB Darius Victor for a workout on Tuesday.
According to Teople, Victor has another workout scheduled with an undisclosed team for next Monday.
Victor, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Towson a back in May and later took part in the Jets and Saints’ minicamps but wasn’t signed to a contract afterward.
The Saints eventually signed him to three-year, $1.66 million contract a month ago but he was, unfortunately, cut loose this past weekend as the team reduced their roster down to 53 players.
During his college career, Victor rushed for 3,144 yards on 588 yards (5.35 YPC) to go along with 18 receptions for 138 yards receiving and 37 total touchdowns.
