Cardinals free agent WR Andre Roberts told NBCSN’s Pro Football Talk on Tuesday that he does not expect to back in Arizona next season.
“I don’t think I’ll be back in Arizona,” Roberts said, via AzCardinals.com. “I haven’t received any phone calls from Arizona and free agency is coming up here in about a week. I definitely feel I did the most with my opportunities, but I thought I would get a little bit more coming my way balls-wise. It’s part of the business. But I don’t think I’ll be back in Arizona. I’ll be testing the market.”
Roberts, 26, has a down year in comparison to his 2012 season, but that probably had a lot to do with Michael Floyd getting more involved in the team’s offense.
He finished the season with 43 receptions for 471 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 16 games.
